Alexander Stockton is from South Texas. He studied Film & Media Studies and Economics at Dartmouth College and spent a semester studying Digital Cinematography at the Screen Academy Scotland. What attracts Alex to film is the medium's capacity to draw a viewer into an open-minded conversation. Alex wrote, directed, and edited the narrative feature film Transient, about an undocumented immigrant's search for a place he can call home. Transient had its world premiere at the Beverly Hills Film Festival and won Best Writer of a Feature at the Chain NYC Film Festival. Alex is currently working in Brooklyn as the Graphics Editor for VICE News Tonight.
